Hold your head in your hands, as if it almost fell

Wondering why it always turns out that way

Watching the light fade til' it's last ray

Always a good reason, for why you can't be the one

A lover's love hugged tight for the first and last time

That's just how the tale goes, can't be the star of a boring story

Yearning to share a heartbeat, and you hear about all had her close, shared a hundred hugs and a hundred beats, and what they're about

And they're nothing like you, and nobody's anything like you

You just wonder if something's wrong about you

I'd bloom into all the flowers she could find pretty

Like a bird having to choose between staying caged or being with you

You'd probably kiss her, one for every tear loving her made you shed

And if it could happen, I am sure, that after few years, the angel grow back its wings, and it wouldn't like to be here.

You wonder why your love only brought her farther from you.

You tell yourself you did the right thing, nobody else will be holding your face, a pat in the back and a smile from yours truly, life continues, you say, wishing for the music not to stop, the tears to keep falling, and the wailing and sobbing you so rarely hear, wishing the silence away.

Star of Love

In a distant part of space, there was a star.

A dazzling one, warming up the wandering lights.

Itself could never feel warm, its core entrapped in a shattering cold.

Dear star, you who are so cold, why would you give the world your dearest glow?

Drifting star, it said. I am blind to my light, but I can touch you.

For you who enjoys my warmth, let me tell you.

Should you need me, my blaze will shelter you, and should you get lost I will shine, for a star's path lies far away from me.

The frigid cracks in my deepest point, frozen in time, the untouched belief that heat I shall never know.

World be my witness. Ice, keeper of truth. To break this ice, and regain sight. 

I will flood the world with color, and perhaps then, will radiance pierce through me.
